BENGALURU: The Mahalakshmi Layout police on Friday arrested a 22-year-old woman Anitha, her second paramour and his friend for allegedly killing her husband at Kurubarahalli. The incident took place on Thursday night.The accused are Roshan (24), a native of Mysuru and his friend Somaraj (27) of Chamrajnagar. They work in a factory in Mysuru.The deceased Narasimhamurthy was a street vendor.
A senior police officer said, “During interrogation, Anitha had misled the police by claiming that her first paramour Praveen Kumar had killed her husband. Later, police found out that she is making these allegations to protect her second paramour Roshan.
“Narasimhamurthy was allegedly harassing Anita and she was upset over this. To put an end to this, she hatched the murder plot with Roshan, who she meton an online platform. Roshan had sought help from his friend Somaraj to kill Narasimhamurthy.”
“On Thursday night, they all came to Narasimhamurthy’s house and he was asleep. Anitha opened the door for the assailants. They stabbed him with a knife. As they failed to dispose the body Anitha, had called Narasimhamurthy’s mother Hanumakka and told her that he is missing since Wednesday. She rushed to the house and found the body under the bed and Mahalakshmi Layout police were alerted,” the officer added.
