BENGALURU: A doctor, fighting to get his original academic records back from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, got them on Friday after the intervention of High Court.
In his petition, Dr R Sumanth stated he had been selected for a super specialty course at AIIMS, the last date for admission being July 15. He was required to produce original documents before AIIMS.
As the institute refused to return the records submitted while joining for PG course, despite orders passed by the HC on July 12, Sumanth filed an interlocutory application before the court again. Justice Aravind Kumar took the authorities of the institute to task and ordered the principal to bring records by 4 pm.
