BENGALURU : Vasavi Vidyanikethan, one of the pioneer institutions in Bengaluru, provides quality education to students from all strata of the society. With a vision to educate and empower students and a mission to provide education through best practices, the V V N Trust Board of Management has been playing instrumental role in turning dreams of every student into reality.

In 1981, VVN Trust took over the administration of Kannada Primary School, Middle School and High School from Maharashtra Mahila Vidyalaya and through its steady progress brought into its ambit, English Nursery (1982), English Primary School (1982), PU College (1982), Degree College (1983), Evening College (2003) and Edify School (2010). Currently, there are 2,000 students from pre nursery to degree college with 150 teaching and non teaching staff.

The VVN Degree College is also providing value based education to girls from all segments of society at an affordable cost. They believe in ‘Education for everyone’ and provide quality education to individuals and working professionals in the evenings.The VVN PU College offers scholarships for meritorious students. Industrial visits and practice exposing are planned for the students with CPT classes for CA aspirants. Free tally course is also imparted to students by NICT.

The VVN Girls High School is an institution exclusively for girls that promote meaningful and joyful learning. A continuous and comprehensive evaluation system (CCE) caters to the holistic development of children integrating sports, fine arts, environmental awareness, values and attitudes, life skills and technology with scholastic subjects.

The VVN Kannada Higher Primary School caters to the needs of students, both boys and girls from the lower strata of society by providing them with quality education. The students are encouraged to participate in sports events, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Computer education is also imparted to the students from the primary classes. Mid-day meals, free distribution of books and uniforms are provided to the students to encourage them to achieve academic excellence. The VVN English Montessori, Nursery, Primary and High School for both boys and girls emphasises on learning to positively influence and have a great impact on creativity, adaptability, innovation, cultural influence and social environment. English is the medium of teaching and different skills are utilised to make communication easier for students.

The VVN English School was awarded with the “Best School Award for RTE” by Childs’ Right Commission for the academic year 2017-18 . Robotics has been introduced for students of Std. III to X from the academic year 2018-19. An adoptive learning course by Azure provides students of Std. IV to VII, an online platform to learn Mathematics. A hands-on-learning is conducted in January every year for students from nursery to X through the science fair, where students exhibit working models and different experiments.

The VVN Edify School utilises the unique 3C curriculum, a balanced and planned methodology, keeping in mind the importance of the CBSE syllabus and international curriculum. Edify School is one of the few schools that could be considered to be a CBSE international school in Bengaluru. 

The academic excellence can be proven by the students’ results in the last academic year. Nimishamba of II PU has secured 98.83 per cent, stood 3rd in the State and topped the rankers list in Bengaluru South region. Vandana J has secured 97 per cent, Sunitha S secured 94 per cent and Preetha E has secured 91 per cent in the 6th semester of BCom examination.   VVNT today is a household name in the south central part of Bengaluru that has produced thousands of students who have passed out with flying colours and are successful in various walks of life.
