Two women die while crossing railway tracks

In separate incidents, two women aged 35 and 70, lost their lives due to trespassing on railway tracks on Saturday morning. 

 BENGALURU: In separate incidents, two women aged 35 and 70, lost their lives due to trespassing on railway tracks on Saturday morning. In the first incident that occurred near Whitefield railway station, Ashwini (35) was accompanying her son Avaduta to school. “Sensing that a train was approaching quite slow, Avaduta left his mum and tried to dart across the tracks,” explained a Government Railway Police personnel. Afraid that the train might hit her son, Ashwini ran behind him and was run over by the train.In the second incident that took place between Devanakunte and Malur, a 70-year-old woman was run over by a train. GRP is yet to gather details about it.
