Tsunami Kitty and friends arrested after creating ruckus in pub
BENGALURU: Kannada reality show actor Tsunami Kitty allegedly created ruckus in a pub and pushed the staff, for not giving him cigarettes. The incident took place at High Ultra Lounge in Malleswaram on Sunday night. A video of the incident went viral on news channels and Subramanyanagar police filed a suo motu case against Kitty and his friend Manjunath, to arrest them on Monday.
A senior police officer said that around 11 pm, Kitty along with his friends Manjunath, a civil contractor, and Prasad, had come to the pub and after drinking, he asked for cigarettes of a particular brand. The waiters told him that they do not have the brand. Upset over this, Kitty and Manjunath started abusing the staff at the counter and pushed one of the waiters. Meanwhile, bouncers at the pub sent them out and informed the police. Sensing danger, Kitty and Manjunath managed to escape from the scene.
However, the pub staff did not file a case with the police. When the video went viral, police took up a case and arrested them. During interrogation, Kitty and Manjunath apologised and were later released on station bail.
Who is Tsunami Kitty ?
Tsunami Kitty was the winner of ‘Thaka Dhimi Tha Dancing Star’ and a participant of Bigg Boss Kannada reality show. He hails from H D Kote and has acted in a few Kannada movies as well. In March 2018, Jnanabharathi police had arrested actor Tsunami Kitty and his gang on the charges of kidnapping and assaulting Girish, a bar employee. On February 28, Girish was standing near a shop at Doddabasti when a group of men attacked him and kidnapped him in a car. He was locked at a farm house over an alleged affair with a woman, who was said to be the wife of Kitty’s friend.
