The initial bus service will be from Chennai to Ernakulum and Chennai to Trivandrum. Each coach can accommodate 31 passengers at a time.
The bus has a unique safety structure — a Monocoque space frame. In case of an accident, the structure helps it absorb the shock that is generated by the impact of the collision and collapses only at the point of contact. Also, because of its lowest centre of gravity, the bus will not topple in case of a collision.

The berths have more head room and there is a removable partition in the twin berths. Individual reading lamps and LCD monitors for every passenger, DVD entertainment with digital audio, house-keeping services at the end of every trip, clean and tidy bed set with pillows and blankets, 180 HP turbo charged engine, centralised air-conditioning with temperature control in the cabin and independent pneumatic suspension for the ultimate comfort are the added advantages.
What sets snooze apartfrom the rest of its clan is its monocoque architecture, high impact resistance during collisions, progressive shock absorption, diesel tank (which is located away from the impact zone), anti-lock braking system, front independent suspension, rear air suspension, abundant baggage area and centralised locking system for baggage safety.
