Training on solar products

The entrepreneur Development Institute (EDI), under the Department of MSME, Govt of Tamil Nadu, Chennai, will organise training programmes on Photovoltaic Solar Electric System and solar products from April 17. The duration of each programme will be one-month or 120 hours.

The entrepreneur Development Institute (EDI), under the Department of MSME, Govt of Tamil Nadu, Chennai, will organise training programmes on Photovoltaic Solar Electric System and solar products from April 17. The duration of each programme will be one-month or 120 hours.

The candidates will trained in solar power generation and solar products. Technical inputs will be in the form of design and cost details, installation, manufacture and marketing of solar electric systems/products. Procedural guidance to set up enterprises based on solar power, preparation of a viable business plan and schemes of financial assistance, including incentives/concessions offered by government for promoting solar energy will also be discussed.

Training will be held at the Tamil Nadu Industrial Training Centre on Anna Salai.

Candidates possessing degree/diploma and ITI are eligible to apply. Admission will be on ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis. For more details, call 87545 90964 or 99411 31357.
