The eighth Graduation Day of Sakthi Mariamman College was held recently and 420 students from different streams received their degree certificates from Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah.
Addressing the students, governor said graduation day is a memorable occasion not only for the passing out students, but also for the management.
“The joint effort and hard work put in by the students and the faculty have fetched them good results. For the management, it is an occasion to turn back and see the path they have travelled and the hurdles they have crossed, and also to plan for the future. For the young graduates, it is time to equip themselves for the future to face the world outside,” he added.
