Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE) celebrated its College Day on April 18. Mohan Narayanaswamy, Managing Director, iNautix, was the chief guest and the college’s principal Prof M Sivanandham presented the annual report and said more than Rs one crore was awarded as scholarships to students by the SVCE Management under various categories.
Mohan asked the students to make use of the IT sector and find solutions for common problems. “They can create applications that could help a dyslexic child read or contribute to agriculture,” he said.
On the occasion, the Best Alumni Award was presented to Anand Daniel, Accel Partners, and the Devaki Muthiah Award for outstanding student went to S R Vignesh, a final year EEE student.
