Cairn India, an Oil & Gas exploration and production company, facilitated a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Women’s Christian College (WCC) and SankalpTaru, an online platform that helps plant trees. The MoU lets SankalpTaru plant 100 saplings to mark the centenary year of Women’s Christian College. The planting will be done by their Alumini who will be WCC nominated people and various personalities, intellectuals and professionals.
SankalpTaru will also work towards creating a virtual tree plantation portal for WCC which will be linked to the official WCC website. This will enable prospective planters who will be identified and recommended by the college to login to this portal and contribute to WCC’s vision towards Greener tomorrow. These trees will grow on the campus of WCC in Chennai.
