Palkhivala lecture by Modi at MU

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the Palkhivala Memorial Lecture 2013 at the University of Madras on Friday.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the Palkhivala Memorial Lecture 2013 at the University of Madras on Friday.

According to a release here, the event will be held at the Centenary Auditorium of the university opposite the Marina Beach.

Former Union minister and BJP leader Arun Shourie will speak on his latest book titled “Self-Deception: India’s China Policies”. Thuglak editor Cho Ramaswamy will also

participate.

The programme will begin at 6 pm and conclude by 7.30 pm.  Due to security reasons, participants have been asked to occupy their seats at 5 pm. Mobile phones, cameras and hand bags will not be allowed inside the auditorium. Those entering the auditorium will be subject to strict verification and ID proof has to be produced at the time of entry.
