CHENNAI: The department of Computer Science and Engineering, Vels University, organised two international events in emerging areas, conducted by the experts from the University of Texas at Dallas, US, recently.
An international workshop on mobile application design and development for android was conducted by John Cole and an International seminar on enjoyable programming by Jeyakesavan.
The event was inaugurated by vice-chancellor V Thamizh Arasan and was faciliated by research advisor S Sivasubramanian of Vels University. Research scholars and staff members from various universities and colleges participated in the workshop and seminar.
The chairman Ishari K Ganesh delivered the valedictory address. He added that the university was interested in further collaborations with the University of Texas in the near future.
