Free Mega Medical Camp

CHENNAI: As part of its 10th year celebration, Vaishnavi Friends Club (VFC), a social and charitable organisation of shipping industry, and Lions Club jointly organised a Free Mega Medical Camp at Customs House. The camp was inaugurated by S Ramesh, Chief Commissioner of Customs. Over 750 people registered and benefited from the camp. Doctors analysed chronic and non-chronic diseases of the participants. The camp covered eye screening, diabetic screening, ortho, dental and other general medical check-ups.  Those diagnosed to be chronic were referred to hospitals closer to their houses for a life time free treatment in support with Sri Sathya Sai Sabha Samaj.
