DMK Complains of Party Members' Names Deletion from Voter Rolls

CHENNAI: DMK workers on Friday filed a complaint with Chief Electoral Officer Sandeep Saxena alleging that names of a large number of DMK members had been deleted from the electoral rolls across the State.

Meanwhile, the CEO through video conferencing facility at the Secretariat discussed with all District Collectors about the progress made in the National Electoral Roll Purification And Authentication Programme. The CEO urged the Collectors to take utmost care while deleting and adding names in the electoral rolls. He asked them to follow the procedure.
