CHENNAI: A new branch of Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital at Mogappair was inaugurated by music composer, actor and producer G V Prakash Kumar on Saturday. The secondary eye care hospital with modern facilities will provide treatment for diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and squint.
The hospital also has a laboratory, pharmacy and optical outlet offering a range of frames and lenses. Dr Amar Agarwal, chairman and MD, and Dr Athiya Agarwal, director of Dr Agarwal’s Group of Eye Hospitals, were also present at the inauguration.
