CHENNAI: T Udhayachandran, till now Secretary (Expenditure), will be the new Secretary, Tamil Development and Information Department. He shall also continue to function as Secretary, BCs, MBCs and Minorities Welfare Department. He replaces M Rajaram, who has assumed charge as a member, TNPSC.
K Rajaraman will be assuming charge as Secretary/Director, Entrepreneurship Development Institute. Darez Ahamed will be the Mission Director, State Rural Health Mission. Ambuj Sharma, has been appointed Industries Commissioner.
Sandeep Nanduri, ED, Chennai Metrowater, will be joining as Commissioner, Corporation of Madurai. Asia Mariam, Joint Commissioner of Municipal Administration, has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner (Education), Corporation of Chennai.
