CHENNAI: Yatra.com has launched a cab marketplace with various cab aggregators which will provide taxi services across 450 cities in India, including Chennai. This tie-up with multiple cab service providers will allow Yatra customers to book their local and inter-city transport on the company’s Android mobile app. With this new feature, Yatra has taken another step forward in providing its customers with a holistic travel solution, according to a release.

Yatra’s cab marketplace provides hourly intra-city and outstation rides where bookings can be made up to 2 hours in advance. While availing hourly cab rides, customers can pay directly at the end of their travel, and for outstation cab bookings, customers will have to make a 25% advance payment.

Travellers can choose one-way, round trip and multi-city trips for outstation cab bookings. The product has options of a large range of cars — hatchbacks, sedans, SUV/MUVs and vans. While it is now available only on the Android app, the iOS launch will follow soon. The feature has been added as Yatra celebrates its 10th anniversary.
