CHENNAI: Two monkeys today entered the departure hall of the international airport here triggering panic among passengers and airport employees.

Airport officials have sought the services of fire and rescue personnel to help evict the simians.

The monkeys were spotted at Gate 18 near the international terminal's departure hall this evening and they were seen criss-crossing the steel framework supporting the ceiling, airport sources said.

Fire and Rescue services personnel are also likely to be helped by 'Narikoravas' (gypsies) to catch them.
