CHENNAI: Though the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2016 was said to be relatively tough, G Vineet and Yash Maheswari of IIT-M scored 99.99 per cent and 99.98 per cent respectively.

Vineet, who studies electrical engineering and wants to float his own venture someday, says he would pursue MBA if he gets into IIM Bangalore or Ahmedabad. CAT 2016 was inclined towards the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test), he says.

Yash, who studies chemical engineering and hopes to join IIM Ahmedabad, said, “I went through rigorous coaching from August and the hard work paid off. I hope to gain experience first, before giving shape to my ideas.”
