A college student got a taste of trespassing into his girl friend's house late at night on Monday. The youth, who who tried to gain entry secretly was allegedly manhandled and severely thrashed near Pattabiram.
The boy, Venkatesan (20), a third year student of a private college reportedly scaled a wall but was was spotted by the girl's father.
The relatives of the girl nabbed and gave him a thrashing. "He was rescued by the villagers and rushed to the government hospital in Tiruvallur where he is out of danger, " police said.
Based on Venkatesan 's complaint a case has been registered by the Pattabiram police.
Investigation revealed that the girl's family learnt about the relationship and confined to her at home since then. "They have not let her meet her friends also," police added.
