To reduce vehicle congestion on Rajiv Gandhi Salai (OMR), especially between Tidel Park and SRP Tools signal junctions, the traffic police will put on trial a modified traffic plan, effective from Friday. The service road in front of Tidel Park, which is two-way up to Madhya Kailash, has been converted into one-way stretch.

Hence vehicles coming from Tidel Park, Elnet and Ramanujam IT Park will have to use that one-way service road, and then take a U-turn at Madhya Kailash.Vehicles coming from the Tidel Park signal intending to go to CSIR Road will have to take a U-turn at the SRP Tools signal, and then move onto Ascendas and other destinations on CSIR Road.

Similarly, vehicles coming from CSIR Road, intending to go to SRP Tools, will have to take a U-turn at the Tidel Park signal as the right turn at Ascendas junction has been closed. Vehicles coming from CSIR Road and OMR from SRP Tools, intending to go to the Madhya Kailash Junction can take a left turn towards the service road (in between Ascendas Junction and Tidel Park signal) and then join the OMR main carriage way near Ramanujam IT Park.ENS
