CHENNAI: Welcoming the decision of the Court of Justice of the European General Court to lift the ban on LTTE, MDMK general secretary Vaiko and PMK founder S Ramadoss on Thursday urged the Centre too to lift the ban on the organisation.
VCK president Thirumavalavan expressed concern over announcement of EU that LTTE would continue to be in the list of terrorist organisations until verdict of the court was examined. Pointing out that for the third time, ban on LTTE had been lifted in EU, Ramadoss said reasons spelt out by EU court to lift ban would apply to India too.
