Matrimony website for diffabled launched

A website to facilitate weddings for the differently-abled was launched in the city on Sunday by Chennai Sai Thunai Matrimonial (CSTM).

CHENNAI: A website to facilitate weddings for the differently-abled was launched in the city on Sunday by Chennai Sai Thunai Matrimonial (CSTM). The website www.saithunaimatri.com was inaugurated by Justice P Jyothimani, Judicial member, National Green Tribunal, Chennai.

“The free website will help the differently-abled to get married. Already over 200 people registered themselves in the website during the trial run last week,” said K Gopinath, state general secretary, Udavikaram Association for the welfare of differently- abled.

The CSTM also conducted a ‘Swayamvaram’. Over 150 candidates participated in the event from across the State. Out of them, 120 grooms and 30 brides selected their partner. The groom should have an income of `15,000 for being eligible. They should submit all certificates for  proof, based on which profiles will be chosen.
