CHENNAI:Spent your life’s savings on a plot which is still unapproved? Do not fret. The City Corporation will take applications for regularisation of plots and layouts in its limits till November 3.
You can register at www.tnlayoutreg.in, where details about registration will be available. The document plans for the plot/layout will have to be submitted to the works department of the City Corporation. However, only plots which were sold with a registered sale deed as on November 20, 2016 are eligible for regularisation.
The government has regularised 349 framework layouts till date and regularisation of 330 layouts is on. The CMDA will release the layout framework soon. Till date 15,414 online registrations have been received. Documents for 6,342 applications have been received by the works department and the civic body has issued demand advice for 1445 applications.
