CHENNAI:Four cricket matches of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) will be held at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk. The Southern Railway has decided to operate special EMU services at night. The matches will be conducted in the city on July 14, July 21, July 28 and August 12.
According to a statement, a special EMU train will leave Chennai Beach at 11.15 pm and will reach Velachery at 12.05 am. The train will stop at Chepauk at 11.25 pm. Similarly, on the return journey, an EMU special will leave Velachery at 12.10 am, and reach Chennai Beach at 12.55 am on July 15, July 22, July 29 and August 13. The train will stop at all the stations.
Between Monday and Saturday, the last train service to Velachery leaves Chennai Beach at 11 pm, while the last train from Velachery departs at 11.10 pm.
