CHENNAI: Funky Fish pop-up has always been known for its head-to-toe festive and bridal wardrobe. For the first time, the pop-up is showcasing an exclusive line of fine jewellery titled Eclat at Novotel Chamiers in association with Shweta Gupta. Whether you are looking for uncut diamond jewellery or classic antique pieces, this edition has got you covered.

The pop-up is curated by partners and city-based entrepreneurs Pavithra Sagar and Nikita Kapoor. “We wanted to stand out from our previous editions. This year’s exhibition is all about jewellery. The collection caters to people from all walks of life. A few brands even collect old jewellery and redesign it for you at a cheaper rate. We offer luxurious pieces as well as pocket-friendly ones,” says Nikita .

Bringing together six renowned jewellers from across the country, the collection has been curated specifically for the upcoming festive season. The list of brands include — Umrao Jewels from Jaipur, Tribe by Amrapali, Symetree from Jaipur, Bespoke by Shweta Gupta from Bengaluru, Omana Jewels from New Delhi and Nidhi Garodia from Mumbai. The designers will be showcasing their timeless uncut diamond, jadao and fine diamond jewellery. The exhibit will also introduce lightweight diamond, semi-precious jewellery and Masami jewels. It promises for matching accessories like chokers, rings, bangles and danglers.

Having hosted over 20 fashion events in four cities across the country, this is Funky Fish’s first-ever fine jewellery event. One can find cocktail earrings, contemporary partywear neckpieces, bold cuffs, offbeat silver jewellery and more. Standing out from the staples are an exciting range of reversible necklaces, bracelets and earrings from Bespoke by Shweta Gupta that can be worn both sides, trending guttapusalu with a contemporary twist from Omana Jewels, statement silver neckpieces from Tribe by Amrapali, cocktail diamond earrings from Nidhi Garodia, fusion gold and polki jewellery from Symetree and classic jadao jewellery from Umrao Jewels. “We usually have only a couple of jewellery pieces or accessory stalls. There has always been a demand for them from our clientele. So, this year you can find all kinds of jewellery that are sure to make for statement pieces this Diwali. The jewels cater to traditional Indian attire as well as western,” says Nikita.
