NEW DELHI:In yet another setback for the AAP, a case of molestation and criminal intimidation was on Friday registered against its legislator Prakash Jarwal. It’s the second such case against an AAP legislator in a fortnight.

The complainant, a resident of south Delhi’s Sangam Vihar area, alleged that Jarwal threatened and molested her on June 2 when she had gone to the Delhi Jal Board office to protest against water problems in her neighbourhoodd. “Some of his goons said the MLA will fix me today. Around noon, the MLA reached the DJB campus and hit me on my chest with a wrong intention,” her FIR statement read. “I nearly fell but managed to save myself. Before leaving, he threatened me saying he would bump me off,” she alleged. On his part, Jarwal tweeted the case is baseless.

Meanwhile, the CBI carried our raids at six places, in a corruption case registered against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s ex-principal secretary Rajendra Kumar and four others.
