Delhi University ECA trials from 17 June

To make the trial process more student-friendly the varsity has made some changes. From this year the varsity has decided to collect the certificates and documents after the first round of trials.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi University has planned to start the trials for extracurricular activities (ECA) from 17th June for the academic session 2017-18.

According to university sources the first part of ECA trials will commence from 17th June and will continue till 26th June. After the semi-round the university will update the list of shortlisted candidates. The finals will be conducted from 30 June to 6 July.

To make the trial process more student friendly the varsity has made some changes. From this year the varsity has decided to collect the certificates and documents after first round of trials.

“We will take the certificates once the student passes the first round. It will be a benifical method for both the students and university official and will help to save time” said an official.

The ECA process will be calculated in ratio of 75:25 which is -weight-age of 75 percent will be given to trials and 25 percent for the certificates.

This year the university will announce six cut off list. The first admission list will be out on 20th June. The classes will start from 20th July.
