Four held for selling fake iPhones in Delhi

Police have arrested four persons for allegedly cheating buyers on the pretext of selling genuine iPhones.

NEW DELHI: Police have arrested four persons for allegedly cheating buyers on the pretext of selling genuine iPhones.

The four accused -- Muneer Khan, Anash Khan, Mohd Hamza Khan and Mohd Ibrahim, had allegedly cheated a number of buyers, the police said.

The accused persons used to bring refurbished old iPhones from China and swapped these with new ones fraudulently, in connivance with the staff from service centres, they said.

Police have recovered 409 iPhones and some other accessories.
