Jamia Milia University inaugurates Wall of Heroes

After Delhi University's Hansraj College, The Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) University has also inaugurated the national flag, hoisted on a 102 feet high newly-installed pole on Monday.

NEW DELHI: After Delhi University's Hansraj College, The Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) University has also inaugurated the national flag, hoisted on a 102 feet high newly-installed pole on Monday.

The National flag was hoisted by the JMI Chancellor and Governor of Manipur, Najma Heptulla.

The National flag measuring 30 feet X 20 ft. has been positioned at the entrance of the Vice Chancellor’s Office.

" The wall of heroes and the national flag signifies a stronger India as well as it will give inspire patriotism, Unity, integrity and enthusiasm among the students," Portaitsproudly said Talat Ahmad, Vice Chancellor.  

The varsity also inauguraPortraitsof 21 Param Vir Chakra,the ‘wall of heroes’.

The potraits of Indian heroes has been displayed next to the ''wall of founders', which displays the pictures of JMI founders along with photographs of all the previous Vice- chancellors.
