APNGOs president P Ashok Babu’s leadership was challenged yet again on Sunday.
AP Rashtra Parirakshana Vedika state coordinator V Lakshmana Reddy suspects ulterior motives behind Ashok Babu inviting the Congress to the all-party meeting held here on Saturday.
In a press release, Lakshmana Reddy posed 14 questions to Ashok Babu. “When the Congress itself decided to divide the state, what was the intention behind inviting its leaders to the meeting?” he asked.
“If we observe the proceedings of the meeting on Saturday, there is a clear change in the direction of the Samaikyandhra movement,” Lakshmana Reddy said. “Employees, workers and farmers need not be made scapegoats in the conspiracies. What was the necessity to surrender to some political party?” he asked.
