60 kg ganja seized, 3 held

Railway police, who have been keeping a constant vigil at all important places, stumbled upon huge quantity of ganja being transported from Orissa to Surat on Tuesday at the Secunderabad railway station.

When the railway police frisked three persons carrying suitcases in the station, they found 60 kilo of ganja stuffed in them. “The trio brought the ganja from the forest area of Orissa and were transporting the same to Surat,” said railway superintendent of police M Kantha Rao.

Babu Gouda, Mithun and Tulu Sahu are all natives of Orissa. Police said a huge quantity of ganja being transported from Mahabubabad area of Warangal to Nagpur was caught by the cops.
