International seminar on Muslim women

Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Centre for Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy in collaboration with ICSSR is organizing a three-day International conference on “Status of Muslim Women in Indian Sub-Continent” from March 6 to 8. The inaugural programme will be held at the Library auditorium, MANUU Campus, Gachibowli. Uzma Naheed, member of Personal Law Board and director of Iqra International Foundation will be the chief guest and Prof. Zoya Hasan, Dean, School of Social Sciences, JNU (Delhi) will deliver the keynote address.

Teesta Setalvad, Indian Civil Rights Activist and Journalist will be the guest of honour and Prof. Nazmunnisa Mahtab, Head, Dept. of Women and Gender Studies, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh will be present for the valedictory.
