Assuring the central government that the process of conducting elections to local bodies, which has already begun, will be completed in the next 90 days, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has urged the Central government to release Rs 1,582.41 crore of the 13th Finance Commission Funds.
He also wants the Centre to release token grants under the Rajiv Gandhi Panchayat Sashaktikaran Abhiyan (RGPSA) as per the state’s entitlement for the financial year 2012-13.
