Maharashtra Mandal on Sunday felicitated Madhapur division ACP K Goverdhan Reddy, Madhapur inspector K Srikanth Reddy, SIs Narender and Madan for their outstanding performance in detecting the kidnap case of a 22-year-old BPO woman employee in 24 hours.
On Feb. 20, two auto drivers had abducted the BPO employee at Madhapur. However, the victim escaped from the clutches of the kidnappers by using her pepper spray.
Stating that such crimes have gone up in the city, K Goverdhan Reddy on Sunday sought the help of public in curbing the crime rate. He said within 24 hours, the Cyberabad police arrested two persons who involved in the abduction.
