The Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad, won the prestigious India Healthcare Award for 2012 for its specialized services in Gastroenterology. Only two hospitals have been selected from Andhra Pradesh for their specialized services including the L V Prasad Institute for Eye Treatment and Asian Institute of Gastroenterology. Dr Nageshwar Reddy was in the news recently for launching a foundation to fight cancer.
