SI caught taking bribe in Mahbubnagar district

Anti-corruption Bureau officials caught P Krishna Murthy, a sub-inspector of police  at Kodair in Mahbubnagar district, red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 at the police station on Saturday from a man for not arresting him, his brother and parents in a case.

The tainted money was seized from him and Krishna Murthy will be produced in a court in Hyderabad.

At Vinjamur in Nellore district, Vinjamur Zilla Parishad High School headmaster Madala Bujjaiah was arrested by ACB officials while accepting a bribe of Rs 6,500 for certifying the attendance of a B.Ed student trainee, K Sreenivasulu, on Saturday.

He was arrested and will be produced in a court in Nellore.
