On a tip-off, the task force police on Monday raided the Filmnagar co-operative housing society and arrested six persons, including three students, for playing three-card, a gambling game.

On a tip-off, the task force police on Monday raided the Filmnagar co-operative housing society and arrested six persons, including three students, for playing three-card, a gambling game.

Police also seized Rs 1.15 lakh cash and six mobile phones from them.

During interrogation, it was revealed that Tej Kumar, a manager in BR advertisement agency, took the premises on rent at Rs 20,000 a month last year and started a gambling house. He told police he started this business to meet his expenses.

The accused along with the seized material were handed over to the Banjara Hills police for necessary action. The accused are K Tej Kumar (28), businessman, Ashish Sethia (23), P Satyanaryana Reddy (44), IT consultant, Suvrath Jain (25), P Dhruv (23) and T Gananath Reddy (23), all a B.tech students.
