A 34-year-old realtor was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday. The body of the victim was packed in a gunny bag and abandoned in an isolated place under Pahadishareef police station limits.

Police suspect that financial dealings could be the reason for the murder.

The deceased has been identified as Sultan Hamid, a realtor, resident of Barkas. Hamid went missing after he left the house on March 23 and his mobile phone was switched off.

Locals noticed the decomposed body packed in a gunny bag and alerted the police.  The family members told the police that the victim’s business partners might have been involved in the killing.

Based on the complaint, Pahadeshareef police registered a case and are investigating.
