A seven-year-old lower kindergarten (LKG) student died after falling into a 10-feet deep unused septic tank while playing along with his friends at NTR Nagar in LB Nagar police limits on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Prem Kumar, son of an autorickshaw driver Srinu.
Prem, along with sister Mounica and friend Kiran, was playing when he accidentally fell into the septic tank which was full of rain water and drowned. Mounica and Kiran informed the parents who alerted police. The body was fished out after pumping out the water.
