HYDERABAD: Annoyed over her father's drinking habit and regular quarrels at home, a 13-year-old girl allegedly killed her father at Manasa Hills on the outskirts of the city, police said today.
According to police, the girl hit her father V Pedda Timmanna, a labourer, on his head with a stick that had a nail, after he picked up a quarrel with the family members after consuming alcohol last night.
"The girl got angry as her father started quarrelling with family members and was beating them up in an inebriated state. The girl hit him with a stick on his head, which resulted in bleeding injuries and he was found dead in the early hours today," Rajendranagar Police Station Inspector Venkat Reddy said.
A case has been booked and further probe is on.
