BDL Pays Dividend

HYDERABAD:  City-based defence public sector undertaking, Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL), has paid an interim dividend of Rs 48.90 crore for the financial year 2014-15 to the Union government. This works out to 42.52 per cent of the paid-up share capital of Rs 115 crore.

BDL chairman and managing director V Udaya Bhaskar presented the cheque to defence minister Manohar Parrikar in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Secretary in the department of defence production G Mohan Kumar,  joint secretary (ES)  JRK Rao,  BDL director (technical) Air Vice Marshal NB Singh and director (finance) S Piramanayagam were present at the ceremony, says a press release.
