HYDERABAD: With changing times and women entering every space and juggling multiple roles, one thing that most of them forget is taking care of themselves, before ensuring the well being of the family.

With most women neglecting this, an initiative to encourage women and educate them about their health needs has been started in the city.

As a part of International Women’s Day Celebration, Apollo Life Centre has organised a health initiative for women that started on March 1 and includes programmes like wellness screening, wellness consultations and diet consultation. Apart from this, a month long fitness programme  from March 9 to April 7, will also include pre and post natal training, one on one consultations and group fitness sessions conducted by Ramona Braganza

Speaking on the occasion Ramona said, “I am really excited to be here, as part of an amazing fitness initiative. I appreciate Apollo Life Centre’s initiative for encouraging people to adopt a healthier lifestyle and to conduct this on the occasion of women’s day is what making it even more special.”

Upasna Kamineni, managing director of Apollo Life Centre also feels that it is very important for women to stay fit and take care of their health. “Women these days are donning several roles and tend to neglect themselves in the hustle and bustle of other priorities like career, family and kids. This is an opportunity and encouragement to embrace a healthier lifestyle. We are happy that we could get the best”
