Start-ups Hog Limelight as Hysea Summit Concludes

HYDERABAD: Start-ups hogged the limelight as the Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) annual summit concluded here on Thursday.

“It is very inspiring to see many youngsters coming up with start ups in Hyderabad. With Hyderabad providing all facilities for information technology  industry there will be good future for startups to grow here. With government’s initiatives like IT Hub and policies aimed at creating ease of doing business, Hyderabad IT sector is poised for a great leap in the future,” said governor ESL Narasimhan after distributing IT industry’s annual awards.

Stating that social media had become the biggest challenge today, the governor  urged IT industry professionals to come up with solutions which will help in governance.

IT industry professionals and experts from all over Hyderabad participated in the summit. Lectures and discussions were conducted on topics like Internet of things, new technology business opportunities, entrepreneurial opportunities among others at the summit.

Awards were distributed to software companies in various categories like software products development, exports, corporate social responsibility and start ups.

“We have tried to highlight the importance of design in product development, if we have to emerge as world class IT destination.

Therefore a Design summit was held. Our other focus area is start-ups. Special awards have been introduced for startups and Hyderabad hot ten start-ups have been selected,” said Ramesh Loganathan president of HYSEA.

A news portal for start-ups was launched on the occasion. The portal will have all the details useful for start-ups like information of mentors, investors, incubators, among others.
