HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad city police on Saturday invoked the Preventive Detention Act (PD Act) against a notorious chain- snatcher and a history-sheeter. While the South Zone police arrested history-sheeter Mohammed Parvez (20), the East Zone police nabbed chain-snatcher Korimi Devender (40). DCP (South Zone) V Satyanarayana said Parvez, an auto driver, is resident of Chowninade Ali Baig in Yakutpura and was involved in cases of murder, attempt to murder, hurt, automobile thefts, etc.
