HYDERABAD: Financial problems drove a couple to kill their twin baby girls by making them drink milk laced with poison and later committing suicide. While the husband committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling his wife consumed poison. The incident took place at Seetarambagh in Habeebnagar police limits on Monday. The deceased were identified as -- Raju, 31, Radhika, 28 and their twin babies Megh and Meghana.
Police said that a milk vendor who came to supply milk noticed the victims hanging from the ceiling and alerted neighbours who in turn alerted the police. Police suspect the couple ended their lives over rising debts.
