HYDERABAD: All the opposition parties including BJP,  youth wings of both Congress and TDP staged protest demonstrations in the state capital on Saturday on bad condition of roads.
Youth Congress members staged a dharna in front of the GHMC head office over pathetic condition of roads. Raising slogans against the TRS government over deplorable condition of roads in the twin cities, the activists tried to barge into the Mayor’s office.  They raised slogans against CM KCR, municipal administration minister KTR and Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and demanded their resignation.
When they tried to gatecrash into the Mayor’s chambers, they were stopped by the security personnel leading to heated arguments between them.

On the otherhand BJP workers under the leadership of state party chief K Lakshman and MLA G Kishan Reddy staged a protest at Nallakunta over poor condition of roads in the city. “I have been MLA for the past 13 years. But, I have never seen such pathetic roads in Hyderabad. What happened to 100-day action plan announced by KTR for improving the infrastructure in the city?” Kishan Reddy questioned.
Meanwhile TDP students organisation TNSF activists also staged a protest and tried to storm the ministers quarters but the police foiled their attempt.  Though the protestors resisted the move of police they were arrested and shifted to Banjara Hills police station.
