2 babas held for wild goose treasure hunt

 Five of a six-member gang who were on a treasure hunt at a dilapidated house located at Medipally village in Yacharam have been arrested by the police on Friday.

HYDERABAD: Five of a six-member gang who were on a treasure hunt at a dilapidated house located at Medipally village in Yacharam have been arrested by the police on Friday. The gang also comprised two self-claimed black magicians who were given the responsibility to unearth the treasure reportedly located in the house with 40 rooms. 

On Thursday night, a group of people MVVS Rajendra Prasad, C Koteshwara Rao and Theegala Chandra Shekar Reddy, who were assuming that the dilapidated house named ‘Dhora Gadi’ belonging to one Shashi Bhushan Rao has huge quantities of gold hidden in it, trespassed the house. The house was actually abandoned by the owners for the last 30 years.

The accused with an impression of digging it, engaged two persons I Nagendra Kumar and Mudavath Parvathi, residents of Miyapur, to unearth the hidden treasure in one  of the 40 rooms of the house.  Yacharam inspector K Chandra Kumar said one car, a crowbar and shovels were seized from the accused.
