GHMC, ITC to launch WOW clubs in 2,000 schools today

As part of efforts to improve sanitation in the city, GHMC and ITC- WOW are jointly implementing Wellbeing out of Waste (WOW) initiative.

HYDERABAD: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, in association with ITC-WOW, will launch ‘Wow Clubs’ in 2,000 schools of Hyderabad and engage them as Bala Swachhagrahis for practicing and raising awareness on source segregation of waste on July 18 at Shilpakala Vedika. As part of efforts to improve sanitation in the city, GHMC and ITC- WOW are jointly implementing Wellbeing out of Waste (WOW) initiative. WOW is an initiative of ITC under its Corporate Social Responsibility. It emphasises on sustainable management of solid waste through awareness and educational efforts.
