Excise dept cracks down on ganja sales

After Gudumba, Dhoolpet might run out of another product, Ganja. Prohibition and excise department officials said that they will eradicate ganja from Dhoolpet and all sections of the department:

HYDERABAD: After Gudumba, Dhoolpet might run out of another product, Ganja. Prohibition and excise department officials said that they will eradicate ganja from Dhoolpet and all sections of the department: Enforcement, State Task Force and other sections will coordinate for this.

Excise superintendent said that consumption of ganja has increased at a prominent government college in Basheerbagh. Stockists, suppliers of the product are from Dhoolpet. Around 10 days ago, the department caught a person who brought ganja concealed in a sack filled with tamarind.
